OK so it's that time - the South Beach diet book is on the counter, I've got a plan and all I need to do is start driving.... I'm going to start right in at phase 2 though - I'm going to have some fruit and some oatmeal - but that's it for 2 weeks. Rick started Weight Watchers so it will definately be helpful to have both of us focused on the same goal. I'm buying a scale tomorrow to weigh myself every so often (not daily! or even weekly)and I'm going to take all my measurments b/c I want to have a good record of things. So, I guess I should list some goals I have for myself for the next year for this "bootcamp" in additon to being the HOTTEST, most BUFF and IN LOVE bride.....
1. eat and excercise to keep my body healthy first and foremost, that means lots of cancer preventing fruits and veggies!!
2. power-walk 4-5 times a week
3. start a weigh training program again (think toned arms and shoulders, and abs that I don't need to suck in!)
4. drink more water and green tea, less coffee
...... enjoy every day of this next year - being engaged, planning a wedding, falling more in love all the time, making mistakes, learning new things about myself, discovering my new "home", keep knitting, get my real estate liscense, perfect my mojito (the frozen ones are perfected already), find some people here who love to dance as much as I do....
well, I might as well have an ice-cream sandwich :)
